Today was my pre-Mothers Day day. Wayne and the kids cleaned the house really good and then they went off for 4 hours for some mothers day surprises. I stayed home and watched a movie and enjoyed some quiet time. When they came home the kids were so excited to give me cup cakes from Sprinkles (they waited in line for 45 min.). I was very happy. We shared our treats with Mckenna my sweet little neice. She liked them more than anyone else. She was SO funny and was saying CAKE! I love that kid. I feel so loved. Who needs tomorrow. I love my family.

I love that maKenna too. She is such a little clown.
Sounds like you are having a two day affair. You have a good husband that makes it happen for you.
I love you and appreciate the good little mother you are. have a happy day.

I'm glad you got some Sprinkles! I saw an article in the paper the other day about it and it made me think of you. Hope you have a great mothers day!

Hey Melanie! Your dad passed along your blog address to me. It's so fun to see your family. They're so big!!! I didn't even recognize your kids...except Ashley. I hope you don't mind if I keep up with your family this way. :-) Lauree

That is the cutest picture of Makenna. You must really be loved for your husband to wait 45 minutes for cupcakes. I hope you got the kind you liked. When we went the day it opened we only waited 10 minutes but they were out of half the flavors. I got my Red Velvet so I was happy. Hope you had a great Mother's Day.
