Today we walked around Walden Pond (outside of Concord, Mass) where Henry David Thoreau once lived. It was beautiful! It was also extra special since L. Tom Perry just spoke at Conference about Thoreau's experience in solitude at the pond. Elder Perry spoke of Thoreau's search for simplicity in life as he counseled us to seek it in our own lives.. We pondered that as we walked around the pond. A highlight of our Boston trip... More to follow...
What a fun trip for you! I visited that same spot about two years ago this same time, it is beautiful. It was fun in conference when he mentioned Waldon Pond to be able to visualize exactly where he was talking about. Have a great trip!

Yes, I'm jealous. Even of your simplistic walk through Walden Pond. It's a place that wanted to visit since college. Looks awesome!
Wow - that picture is incredible. I had no idea it was so beautiful there. Enjoy your trip!

So pretty! Can't wait to see more pictures.
The pond is great but the baby is the focal point of that picture for me.
